Husqvarna has unleashed a couple of clutch upgrades for the 2021 701 Enduro and 701 Supermoto, but stopped well short of a full refresh of the machines. The 701s have been a winning formula since they bowed a few years ago, and Husky is wise to leave well enough alone—for the most part.
The 701 Supermoto also gets a new dash, which it shares with the 701 Enduro.Husqvarna
For 2021, both bikes are getting a new LCD dashboard that sits just behind a rethought headlight unit. The dash now includes a gear indicator and tach, but changes to the headlight are harder to spot.
The new LCD dash includes a digital tach and gear indicator, welcome additions to what is much more than just a dirt bike.Husqvarna
Mechanically, both bikes have a Euro 5-compliant exhaust this year, and both get key brake upgrades. The Enduro now has ABS that can be totally turned off to allow maximum off-road shenanigans. The Supermoto now comes with a Brembo four-piston Monoblock front caliper.
The Enduro gets a WP Xplor fork with 9.8 inches of travel, 1.3 inches over the smooth-tired Supermoto.Husqvarna
Otherwise, the big Huskies are the same bikes we have come to know and love—feathery chassis, monster torque, and impeccable handling that only the Europeans can deliver.
