Playing Roulette online

To play a game or two of Roulette online, you’re firstly going to need to log on to an online casino provider site, on a compatible device, connected to a strong and reliable internet connection.

If you don’t have an account with an online casino provider, we advise having a look at the games they offer, as well as their promotions page too – you may be able to receive a welcome bonus if you sign up to a site via one of their promotions.

But, as always, read the terms and conditions before signing up.

Once logged in, you’ll notice that some sites separate their games into categories at the top of the menu bar across the screen. If you cannot see a Roulette tab, try looking for either table games or casino games.

Once you’ve clicked on the Roulette tab, scroll through the games on offer. Have a read of the descriptions, and see if you like the look of the layout or theme, if the game carries one.

When you have found the game you wish to play, open it up and let it load.

How to play Roulette

When the game has loaded, you’ll be welcomed by the Roulette wheel, the table and some betting chips.

Before the game can commence, you’ll need to set your wagering requirement. You’ll then be able to use the betting chips on the screen, to place wagers on the table layout representing the pocketed compartments of the wheel.

Once you’ve placed your wager down on where you predict the ball will land within the wheel, the game will begin. If you’re playing a live game of Roulette, complete with a dealer, they’ll announce when bets can be placed and when the betting window is closed, ready for the wheel to be spun.

Then, it’s time to see the wheel in action. The wheel will begin to spin and the ball entered into play. If the wheel spins clockwise, the ball will be spun into play anti-clockwise.

After the ball has bounced around the wheel and the wheel has come to a complete stop, the details of the pocketed compartment containing the ball will be announced.

A small object known as a dolly will be placed on the table layout, indicating where the ball landed. If you guessed correctly, you’ll see your winnings automatically transferred into your bankroll. If unsuccessful, you’re more than likely see a message appear saying ‘better luck next time’.
