ABG’s Tambovskaya Vodka is made from spirit distilled at the Talvis distillery in Russia

Amber Beverage Group has launched a Russian vodka for the Austrian market.
Tambovskaya Vodka is made at the group’s Latvian production facility with spirit from ABG’s Talvis distillery in Tambov, Russia. The range comprises two vodkas – Tambovskaya Osobaya Silver Vodka and Tambovskaya Pink Vodka.
Tambovskaya will be handled by ABG’s Austrian unit, Mountain Spirits.
“It is an exciting time for the vodka category with growing consumer demand for authentic brands,” said Elena Azhnova, ABG’s route-to-market strategist. “There’s strong potential for Tambovskaya Vodka as it is an authentic quality product, with the spirit from Tambov Oblast in Russia being a key ingredient.”
The Talvis distillery was built in 2009.
Luxembourg-based Amber handles the bulk of the drinks operations for its parent, SPI Group, which retains control of the Stolichnaya vodka brand.
