Outlaw Rum: from Trinidad to Speyside

Outlaw Rum has been aged to perfection in oak whisky casks that formerly held some of Scotland’s finest single malt whiskies. The company takes complex and characterful rums, distilled and aged on the Caribbean island of Trinidad. Crafted in the famed stills of Port of Spain, the rums use an original yeast strain and sugarcane molasses to give Outlaw Rums a rich, robust palate. 

The range comprises:

Outlaw Rum Flagship Blend: this smooth blend takes its wood influence from first-fill American oak single malt whisky casks, but retains the dinstinct qualities of its Trinidadian origins. Vanilla and citrus notes come forward on the palate to complement the rum’s sweet fruitiness. In body, it is creamy and buttery, with spicy hints and subtle woody notes.

Limited Releases, #03 Bourbon and #05 Islay: this limited-edition rum develops its complex flavour and character from a unique distilling and maturation process. From Port of Spain to the cabrach in Speyside, this premium rum has been aged in ex-bourbon casks that previously held single malt whisky.
