Ryan Reynolds’ Aviation Gin and Hugh Jackman’s Laughing Man Coffee Face off at Sam’s Club

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have been engaged in a long-standing friendly feud since the duo first worked together on the set of X-Men in 2009. The decade-long rivalry has played out in the form of on-screen pranks and social media trolling. Now, the pair are channeling that “bad blood” for a good cause.

Reynolds and Jackman are facing off to raise money for the SickKids Foundation and Jackman’s own Laughing Man Foundation through beverage sales at Sam’s Club. Reynolds first teased news of the latest installment of “the feud” on his Instagram account last week.

Here’s how it will work: From Nov. 10 to Dec. 20, any purchase of Reynolds’s Aviation Gin or Jackman’s Laughing Man Coffee will count as a “vote” for each actor. Fans can also vote for Team Ryan or Team Hugh online, and five winners will be selected to attend a virtual party with Reynolds and Jackman.

According to an email press release, the man with the most votes at the end of the competition will earn “bragging rights only.” The real prize will go towards the Laughing Man Foundation and the SickKids Foundation, which will each receive equal donations, no matter who wins “The Feud.”

The charitable collab should come as no surprise. In the past, Reynolds used Aviation Gin to secure donations for the Bartenders Guild, while Jackman founded Laughing Man Coffee to support coffee communities.

This stunt may be focused on a fictitious actors’ feud, but it’s safe to say these are causes worth fighting for.
