Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey jumps the border into Canada

Skrewball Spirits has expanded the presence of its US namesake peanut butter-flavoured whiskey across the border to Canada.
Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey initially launched in the US in mid-2018
The San Diego-based start-up, which launched Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey in its home market in July 2018, is starting to roll out the expression in Alberta this month. Skrewball, which is working with Infinium Spirits as its distributor in North America, is looking to hit other Canadian regions in the New Year, ahead of “aggressive” international expansion plans.
“Our partnership with Infinium elevated Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey on the national level, and we’re thankful for this continued partnership as it brings us international,” said Skrewball co-founder Brittany Merrill-Yeng. “Strengthening our presence across the entire continent is one of our key focuses of the months ahead, and we can’t wait for Canadians to join our ‘krew’.”
Peanut butter has grown in popularity as a flavour choice for craft distillers in the US. In August, Utah-based Ogden’s Own unveiled an extension of its Porter’s whiskey brand, which uses Canadian whisky as its base. Almost a year earlier, Old Elk Distillery announced PB&W, which uses three peanut flavours.
