Here Are All the Livestreams & Virtual Concerts to Watch During the Coronavirus Crisis: Week of Nov. 9

Nov. 10: Halsey is hosting a livestream event for the release of her poetry book, I Would Leave Me If I Could. The event begins at 6 p.m. ET. To receive a ticket, pre-order a copy and show proof of purchase.

Kellie Pickler, Justin Moore and others are joining Robert Irvine for his Salute to Our Heroes virtual fundraising concert. The event will celebrate not only Veterans Day, but also first responders and veterans. The show begins at 9 p.m. ET; watch and donate on the Robert Irvine Foundation’s website.

Nov. 11: 311 is performing three shows — also on Dec. 11 and Jan. 11 — with each set to feature one of their classic albums. The November show will focus on Music, the December show on Grassroots, and the January show on 311. The band will be playing live from their Hive studio in L.A. Tickets start at $20. A portion of the proceeds will go toward Crew Nation to help those impacted by the coronavirus lockdowns.

Nov. 12: H.E.R. and Khalid are performing for the HBCU Homecoming Celebration on iHeartRadio. H.E.R.’s performance will occur between 3-4 p.m. ET on iHeartRadio’s YouTube channel, and Khalid’s between 5-6:30 p.m. ET.

Lil Yachty is performing some of his favorite songs for fans. His livestream event will also feature special guests and an exclusive merch drop. The event begins at 9:30 p.m. ET; tickets start at $15.

Wiz Khalifa, Anti-Flag and more are set to appear for virtual concert Yinz Citizen. The event benefits 412 Food Rescue. The stream begins at 8 p.m. ET; register to attend here.

Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon will be discussing her new book No Icon in a virtual event with Powell’s Books. The discussion begins at 8 p.m. ET. Tickets are $45 and include a copy of her book.

Lucinda Williams’ six-part series of virtual shows is back for its second event, this time with the theme of “Southern Soul.” The livestream will feature an in-studio performance with a mostly full band. The event benefits independent venues that have been struggling due to the going COVID-19 pandemic. The show begins at 8 p.m. ET; tickets start at $20.

And You Will Know Us by the Trail of the Dead, Riders Against the Storm and many more are performing in “Music for the Mind,” a fundraising event for mental health awareness. The show begins at 7 p.m. ET; tickets are $10.

Nov. 13: Elvis Costello is doing a live Q&A via Zoom to celebrate the release of his latest album, Hey Clockface. Tickets start at about $18.50 and includes the album.

Nov. 14: Metallica is playing a live acoustic show from San Rafael, Calif. The “Helping Hands Concert and Auction” will benefit the band’s charity, All Within My Hands, with 100 percent of the money going to help someone in need. The show starts at 5 p.m. ET on; tickets are $14.99.

Brendan Benson is celebrating his 50th birthday with a livestream concert from Nashville. He’ll be backed by members of The Shins, Eagles of Death Metal, and Neon Castles. The event begins at 5:20 p.m. ET; tickets start at $15.
