Boomerang CEOs: Disney, Starbucks and UBS bring back leaders
Companies have begun bringing back CEOs who have either retired or been pushed out after their predecessor either fails or leaves resulting in the term boomerang CEO.
The latest example of this is Sergio Ermotti who is returning to UBS, however other examples include Bob Iger who stepped back into the CEO role at Disney less than 12 months after he retired.
Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz finished up his third stint as CEO this month.
