Gladys Berejiklian joins Optus in new role after politics

Former New South Wales premier Gladys Berejiklian says she found it “extremely appealing” to work for an organisation “that touches millions of Australians” in her new role as Managing Director, Enterprise, Business and Institutional at Optus.

“I relish the opportunity to roll up my sleeves and work hard for an organisation I believe in,” she told Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood.

“My decision was to go back to the private sector and work hard and that’s what I’m looking forward to doing.

“And looking forward to really contributing to economic growth and supporting businesses on their journey.”
