Government will ‘jeopardise’ the Voice if they release the model after the referendum

Sky News Brisbane Bureau Chief Adam Walters has questioned why can’t the model for the way in which the Voice will work “be showcased to Australians before the referendum”.

“The Prime Minister says he wants to … simplify the referendum question,” he told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“The question itself will beg many more for those millions of Australians who need to know exactly what they are voting for or against.

“So for the model to be released after the referendum just doesn’t seem to make any sense … such a plan could well jeopardise the prospects of the Voice.”
