Gatineau house fire displaces four

Gatineau firefighters responded to a two-alarm blaze at a home on rue Chartrand in Gatineau’s Aylmer sector on Saturday night.
The fire, which started on the ground floor, was reported by a neighbour at about 8:40 p.m and was extinguished by 9:40 p.m.
Four people were displaced and helped by the Red Cross, but there were no injuries, the fire service said.
The fire department estimated the damage to the house at $155,000.
