Paramedics called to help man after fall on Jack Pine Trail

Four paramedics were needed to extract a man who had taken a bad fall on Jack Pine Trail off Moodie Drive on Tuesday afternoon.

The Ottawa Paramedic Service received a call at 12:42 p.m. about an injured man on the trail.

The 73-year-old had ventured approximately 700 metres down the path before falling.

He was treated for “extremity” injuries and taken to the Queensway Carleton Hospital in stable condition.
