Ottawa police are asking the public to help them find a 15-year-old girl who was reported missing Friday.

Jordyn Moore was last seen getting into a silver vehicle in the area of Peter Robinson Road in the city’s rural west end, the Ottawa Police Service said in a release Tuesday. It may have been a newer four-door Ford Taurus.

“Her family is worried for her well-being and safety,” police said.

Moore is described as white, five feet, five inches tall and 135 pounds with long blond hair and piercings on her left lower lip, left eye brow and on both side of her nose. She has a heart tattooed on her left hand. Moore was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and sandals and carrying a backpack.

Anyone with information about Moore’s current whereabouts is asked to call Ottawa police at 613-236-1222.

Those with other information that could help investigators are asked to call the missing persons unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 2355 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
