Traffic police kick off long weekend watch with two cars racing at 150 km/h

The street racers were clocked at 150 km/h in the 60 km/h zone.
In another case, a third driver was arrested for stunt driving, doing 118 km/h in a 60 km/h zone near Baseline Road and Woodroffe Avenue,
All three had their licences suspended for 30 days and their vehicles impounded for 14 days.
In other Noisemaker action, six drivers were charged with speeding, 11 were ticketed for excessive noise, and seven were pulled over for having no muffler, or an improper muffler.
Police caution the traffic police will be in enforcement mode all weekend.
