What you need to know about the Pacers

Indiana will be looking to extend its winning streak to three games on Wednesday night. The Pacers are coming off consecutive victories over Houston and Portland, beating the Trail Blazers by 31 points on Sunday. Shooting guard Tyrese Haliburton is averaging 17.4 points and 9.1 assists since being traded from Sacramento to Indiana.

Haliburton is questionable for Wednesday’s game due to a back injury, as are Isaiah Jackson (concussion) and Chris Duarte (toe). Point guard Malcolm Brogdon is the team’s leading scorer, averaging 19.1 points per game. He was given the day off on Sunday, so he should be rested heading into this game. Indiana has won four of its last five home games against the Kings.

What you need to know about the Kings

Sacramento is on a losing skid, having dropped seven of its last eight games, including each of its last three. The Kings had a chance to pull off an upset against Phoenix on Sunday, but they came up short in a 127-124 overtime thriller. They are also now going to be without Domantas Sabonis for the next five games after he suffered a bruised left knee against the Suns

Sabonis has recorded 12 double-doubles in 15 games since being traded from Indiana to Sacramento. The Kings are also expected to be without leading scorer De’Aaron Fox due to a hand injury while Richaun Holmes (personal) is listed as out. Their absences would leave forward Harrison Barnes as the team’s top scoring option. He had 21 points and four rebounds on Sunday.
