Earlier this season, former Cowboys star Michael Irvin dissed Dallas wideout CeeDee Lamb.
“CeeDee Lamb is no Amari Cooper,” the Pro Football Hall of Famer said. In the offseason, Dallas dealt four-time Pro Bowler Cooper to the Browns.
Actually, Lamb is better than Cooper.
In 2021, Cooper caught 68 passes for 865 yards, a 57.7 yards-per-game average. Lamb should far eclipse those totals.
“CeeDee is more productive every week. He’s delivering for us,” Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said recently.
Lamb continues to deliver highlights, including a spectacular 23-yard, one-handed catch with a defender draped all over him in a 28-20 victory against the Giants on Thanksgiving.
