Lio Rush will be getting the conversation hearts going on Valentine’s Day as “The Man Of The Hour” announced his contract from AEW will expire on February 14. Rush made the announcement via Twitter simply stating, “On February 14th, 2022 My contract will expire with AEW and I will become a free agent.”

Rush initially made his All Elite Wrestling debut at Double or Nothing back in May of 2021. However, Rush suffered an injury and announced his retirement from wrestling shortly after. Rush happened to un-retire and return to the company back in October, getting heavily involved in a storyline with Dante Martin in a mentor-like role. Rush hasn’t been seen on AEW television in 2022.
