Nick Aldis isn’t going anywhere and will continue to be your National Wrestling Alliance Champion.

“I had an option on my contract and Billy picked it up,” Aldis revealed on Keepin It 100 with Konnan (transcription via Post Wrestling‘s Andrew Thompson). “Like I said, I would not have opened up any discussions with anyone without talking to [Corgan]. … I just care about that paper. That’s it and Billy’s been very loyal to me and I to him and I truly believe in what we’re doing with the product and I wouldn’t walk away from it because we haven’t even scratched the surface of what we could accomplish.”

Aldis also said that Powerrr will come back in 2021. That’s not the first NWA champion to mention that as NWA Women’s Champion Serena Deeb said that NWA Powerrr tapings will begin either in January or early next year.
