PWG Announces Return Show Will Take Place On August 1 – Wrestlezone

PWG is finally returning after over a year since their last show.

PWG is the top California independent promotion that has boosted the careers of names such as Adam Cole, Daniel Bryan, Ricochet, Candice LeRae, The Young Bucks, Kevin Owens, and more.

After hosting their last show in December of 2020 and taking more than a year off because of the global pandemic, PWG announced on Twitter that they would be returning on Sunday, August 1, 2021. At this time, there is no venue announcement or show name to report on.

PWG’s last scheduled show was to take place in March 2020 and was to be an honor of Kobe Bryant following the NBA player’s passing but the show was canceled due to the global pandemic. The current MSK is the most recent PWG Tag Titleholders and they vacated the belts upon signing with WWE.

WrestleZone will continue to monitor the story and report any and all updates.
