Rey Mysterio Reveals New Latino World Order On 3/31 WWE SmackDown
Latino World Order has arrived in WWE.
During the March 31 episode of WWE SmackDown, Legado del Fantasma confronted Rey Mysterio backstage and declared that they have his back if Judgment Day try to attack him. Mysterio echoed the sentiment and handed each member a shirt that said “Latino World Order” on it.
Mysterio said, “It is official. We are the new Latino World Order.”
The LWO was originally introduced in WCW in 1998 by Eddie Guerrero. Mysterio was once a member of the faction after losing a match to Guerrero on an episode of Nitro.
When Santos Escobar formed Legado del Fantasma in 2020, their shirts with “LDF” on it had a similar font as the original LWO logo.
